At present, the Office of the Information Commissioner is actively in the process of establishing its operational framework, including the development of essential systems for the formal registration of data controllers. While the capability to register data controllers is not currently available, we are diligently working to put in place the necessary infrastructure to facilitate this process.
It is important to note that there will be specific criteria that organizations must fulfill upon the commencement of the registration procedure. Therefore, we strongly encourage data controllers to proactively prepare themselves by taking the required measures in readiness for the upcoming registration phase.
